Bharatanatyam dancer in a maroon and gold silk costume with temple jewellery
Since 1950

The same family, the same cutting table, since 1950

Mr. Narayanaswamy began as chief costumer at Gemini Studios in 1950. Three generations on, we handcraft costumes for every Indian classical dance form, temple jewellery and custom stitching at Meppadu Junction. Each costume is cleaned, aired and kept germ-free before it reaches you.

Why dancers come back to us

Our costumes are available to assist with a performance or simply to give you inspiration — see, hold and compare in the shop.

Measurements taken in person

Sit with a stitching master at Agaram Main Road, or send your measurements and we guide you point by point.

One evening on stage. A lifetime of grace behind it.

The arangetram is not the end of learning — it is the moment the stage first calls your name.
